As someone with acne-prone oily skin, Centella has always been one of my fave ingredients. Not only is it super calming, I also find that it works great at conditioning my overall skin
Rich in amino acids and anti-ageing properties, Centella helps with the synthesis of collagen and skin tissue. There are 4 main types of acids/ingredients that can be derived from the Centella Asiatica plant: Madecasoside, Asiatic Acid, Asiaticoside & Madacassic Acid.

For this new Hyalu-Cica range, SKIN1004 has combined Hyaluronic Acid to further hydrate the skin.
Today I'll be sharing all about my routine which includes Hyalu-Cica products, as well as share some of my thoughts.
A gel cleanser that effectively removes makeup and impurities on the skin without stripping the skin. I like how this one did not leave my skin feeling dry, and it effectively removed all my leftover makeup. It doesn't foam up too much, and I think it's a great daily cleanser.

HYALU-CICA BRIGHTENING TONER
A highly hydrating toner that helps to gently exfoliate while soothing and brightening the skin. Containing both Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) and Beta-Lipohydroxy Acid (LHA) to gently exfoliate and removes dead skin cells, I found this toner to be quite hydrating! Even without patting it in (like how I usually do after swiping with a cotton pad), my skin felt refreshed and looked plumper.
An ultra-fine mist spray that helps replenish moisture and prevent fine lines for dewy glowing skin throughout the day, this also contains Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) Leaf Water packed with antioxidants to repair and protect the skin. I like how fine and spread out the mist is, but I have to say, the scent is not my favourite. It offers a refreshing spritz throughout the day, but I wish it had less scent.
A hydrating ampoule that quickly boosts moisture and preps the skin to absorb the next step of skincare. With SKIN1004's unique complex made from Hyaluronic Acid and Centella Asiatica, this ampoule provides hydration while restoring the skin barrier.
A highly hydrating serum that also soothes and brightens the skin. Featuring 5-Layer Hyaluronic Acid, this serum offers long-lasting hydration for the skin. With Hedera Helix (Ivy) Leaf Extract to energize dull skin, this is a little richer than the ampoule but I would still use it day and night. Absorbs quickly with no sticky residue!
A lightweight gel sleeping mask formulated with pear and melon fruit extract to calm and vitalize skin throughout the night. Also containing Melatonin to help firm the skin, this light mask didn't suffocate my skin and was pretty comfortable all throughout the night.
A non-nano chemical sunscreen that blocks UV rays, while simultaneously hydrating the skin. Leaves skin with a moisturized, dewy finish. Out of all the products I tried from this range, I think this is my fave! With no white cast, this hydrating sunblock has a serum-like texture that isn't oily. So comfortable! Highly recommend this.

Overall, I think this range is quite good! The prices are definitely affordable, and I see myself using these products till the last drop.
If your main concern is just acne and scarring, I would recommend you try out their original Madagascar Centella range. But if you're like me whose concern is acne but also to maximize hydration, I would definitely give the Hyalu-Cica range a go.
