Hi guys, today I'll be sharing all about Uniqlo's Uniqlo U FW22 collection, my haul + my lookbook!
Launching on September 23, the Uniqlo U 2022 Fall/Winter collection will be available online and in select stores. If you guys follow me here on my blog or on social media, you guys would have known that I was previously invited to a preview of the collection:
Click here to read all about it.
Designed by Artistic Director Christophe Lemaire and his UNIQLO R&D team in Paris under the theme the Essentials with a Point of View, the new collection offers an even more considered take on minimalism. Focusing on "A New Genderless Offering", the men’s and women’s design teams worked together to create a concise collection of genderless essentials such as the practical pocketable long coat and workwear-inspired utility short blouson jacket, varied in size but not design, that reflect a modern approach to dressing.
With boxy silhouettes and roomy proportions suited to many body types, Uniqlo U 2022 Fall/Winter began with the idea of a capsule wardrobe that could fit into a single suitcase, adaptable enough to take you through an entire season with essentials that pay special attention to functionality and versatility.
Featuring a range of sophisticated new colours like bright ochre yellow, purple, washed red and warm white, these pieces complement rich neutrals (which I love), grounded in nature and perfect for complimenting my current wardrobe.
Although I was invited, rest assured I didn't get any free clothes haha. As a huge fan of Uniqlo and the Uniqlo U line, I was looking forward to it and willing to spend my own money anyway. So when September 23 rolled up, I immediately went over to Uniqlo Fahrenheit to buy up all the pieces I wanted.

In this post, I'll be sharing all about what I bought, what I ended up not buying + some pics of how I style the pieces.
Uniqlo U Crew Neck Short Sleeve T-Shirt
35 Brown • RM 39.90 • Link
A staple. I have bought every colour of this shirt and I'm not stopping haha. I just love the softness/ideal thickness of the fabric + the cut! I wear a size XL, but Uniqlo recently started offering more sizes online.
Uniqlo U Warmer Jacket
56 Olive / 30 Natural • RM 399.90 • Link
Out of the entire preview, I had my eyes set on this jacket the most. I loved the puffiness + the colour (of course), and I also loved the slightly cropped length of it.
Of course, I bought the 56 Olive, but when I stepped into the store I also really loved the 30 Natural shade! It's a nice offwhite colour which matches well with my other neutrals, and I just had to have it.
Uniqlo U Rounded Jeans
30 Natural • RM 149.90 • 27 inch • Link
While browsing the collection in-store, I noticed a matching pair of pants. I've bought a few pairs of their rounded jeans before and I quite liked them so I decided to pick up this pair so I could colour coordinate with one of the bomber jackets I bought. These pants really accentuate the waist, and I was proud of myself for fitting into the women's 27inch waistline haha.
Uniqlo U Tailored Coat
32 Beige • RM 399.90 • Link
I fell in love with this coat during the preview but unfortunately, I ended up putting it down and not buying it at all. Although it looks great in the image I snapped before, it didn't really look as flattering the second time round.
Uniqlo U Premium Lambswool Ribbed V Neck Long Sleeve Cardigan
38 Dark Brown • RM 199.90 • Link
This was another piece on my wishlist that I unfortunately didn't manage to get. Malaysia only carried the gray and black versions, while all three including the brown are available in Singapore. I might try my luck if I can visit Singapore next month, but I highly doubt there'll be any left :(
Uniqlo U Pocketable 2WAY Bag
RM 79.90 • Link
I liked the idea of this bag when I saw the press release/the lookbooks online, but sad to say it was another skip. Since it's pocketable, there are a lot of creases on the bag once it's unfolded that makes it very unflattering in my opinion.
Uniqlo U Drawstring Shoulder Bag
57 Olive • RM 129.90 • Link
I actually previously saw this bag in the Uniqlo U SS22 preview event:
I loved the look but skipped it because I knew I wouldn't use the colour that much. For this season, Uniqlo released an off white colour (below), as well as a black and olive version.
Even though the off white was pretty, I settled on the olive as I wanted something I could wear regularly that wasn't too plain (black) nor could get dirty easily (the off white). I'll snap a few OOTD shots with it soon and update you guys on IG!
And that's it for this post! I hope you guys found it helpful and informative.
See y'all in my next post!
