Malaysian Afternoon Tea at Lounge on the Park Review

Hi guys! Today I'll be sharing all about the Malaysian Afternoon Tea set by Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur at Lounge on the Park.

The Malaysian Afternoon Tea will be available from 1 March to 31 May 2022. Served at Lounge On The Park, the tea set retails for RM168 per pax.

In this post, I'll be sharing some snaps I got of the set, as well as my thoughts on some of the standouts from this afternoon tea set.

WARM SCONES

Orange scone

Pandan scone Homemade caramel Pandan jam, kaya jam and clotted cream

The pandan scones actually tasted like pandan, and I loved it as per usual. Good scones are hard to come by in KL, and MO's scones are always nice and not crumbly, just the way I like them.

PASTRIES

Durian cheesecake

Mandarin orange mousse

Green tea red bean cream religieuse

Banana gula Melaka mousse

The green tea red bean cream religieuse came in the shape of a swan and it looked so stunning! A religieuse is basically a choux pastry case filled with creme patisserie, and this was a delightful mixture of red bean and matcha that actually made me think of hunting down Japanese desserts lol.
