2021 Christmas Afternoon Tea at Lounge on the Park Review, Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur

Hi guys, today I'll be sharing all about Mandarin Oriental Kuala Lumpur's latest Christmas Afternoon Tea at Lounge on the Park.

Available from 1 December 2021 to 7 January 2022, Mandarin Oriental KL's Christmas Afternoon Tea is definitely a holiday treat you won't want to miss.

This holiday season, they've refreshed their selection of tea. Featuring Ronnefeldt tea, start your afternoon tea by choosing your preferred flavour when you arrive at Lounge On The Park,

The afternoon tea costs RM168+ per person, but by upgrading to RM228+, you can get free flow hot beverage (coffee) and 1 glass of champagne.

The afternoon tea itself consists of pastries, sandwiches and scones:

Clotted cream/Orange & cinnamon marmalade/Strawberry & hibiscus jam

PASTRIES

Santa belt cherry apricot vanilla tart

Classic chocolate buttercream yule log

Roasted turkey with cranberries compote in rye bread

Cured strawberry salmon with avocado cream in brioche bread

Italian style beef sandwich with sweet pepper confit in multigrain bread

I think the afternoon tea was quite nice, and it was a good mix of delectable sweets and savoury treats. My fave items were the éclairs. I think this high tea set is perfect for those looking to catch up with their friends after being cooped up at home, and I definitely enjoyed my afternoon chatting with old and new friends.

This holiday season, Mandarin Oriental's pastry chef Chef Suzana Anwar also presents a selection of festive treats, like gingerbread houses, macarons and more.
