Hi guys, today I'll be sharing all about the event I attended with Dermalogica where they launched the new Biolumin-C Gel Moisturizer!
The new Biolumin-C Gel Moisturizer is a lightweight daily moisturizer, and it contains a Vitamin C complex, plant-based squalane and 5 different types of hyaluronic acid.
I was super lucky to be part of the first batch of people in Malaysia to actually give this a go, and it was made even more special because we were joined in the event by Dermalogica's Training Manager for APAC Jodi Ayre from Sydney.
Containing a highly-stable Vitamin C complex with advanced re-activation biotechnology, this new moisturizer helps to boost bioavailability for brighter skin and improved barrier defence. If you guys are into skincare, you'll know that it's super important to keep Vitamin C stable so that it stays effective and actually makes a difference in your skin.
With an antioxidant-rich formula containing Squalane and five different types of Hyaluronic Acid, this moistuzier not only brightens and also delivers essential hydration to minimize the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
It also contains Verbascum Thapsus Flower Extract to provide the skin with an instant brightening effect. The Phytic Acid and Pumpkin Enzymes within the moisturizer also has exfoliating properties that support natural skin renewal.
I had a great time at discovering the product, it's textures and its ingredients at the event, I couldn't wait to try it out that same night.
The Biolumin-C Gel Moisturizer is now available in Malaysia, and the 50ml bottle retails for RM318

Gluten-free, paraben-free and cruelty free, this moisturizer is also vegan and contains no artificial fragrances and colours.
The packaging is secure and airtight, keeping the vitamin C fresh and stable, well away from heat and sunlight.
For application, Dermalogica advises applying the product over both the face and neck after cleansing and toning, moving in light, upward strokes. It can be used twice daily, morning and night. Allow one minute for product absorption, and for daytime use, follow with an SPF.
I always have Vitamin C in my routine, and I think what makes this different is the refreshing texture. I love how it’s so hydrating without being too sticky, and I think it’s a good match with my current skincare rotation. I use it both day and night (with SPF in the morning of course), and I do find that it helps my skin look overall more alive (if that makes sense 😆).
As for scar fading, I didn’t see any dramatic effects as I don’t have any extreme hyperpigmentation or acne scars at the moment, but I do think that it helps a bit with my overall skin tone and condition.
And that's it for this post! I hope you guys found it helpful and informative.
See y'all in my next post!
