Hi guys, today I'll be sharing all about Handmade Heroes' Oat Mighty Cuticle Oil
Handmade Heroes is a local beauty brand here in Malaysia, but although I've seen them around for the longest time, I never got the chance to try their products because I still had a lot of skincare to go through.
Back in April, KLoe hotel had a market-type event that featured local brands, and since I made lunch plans with my friend Fufy, she brought me along to the market event as well.
The brands were set up in the hotels' rooms, and I really liked how each brand dressed up their rooms.
All of their products were available that day, and it was great since I could try the products out before making a purchase. Fufy even video called some of her friends who were interested in buying HH products, so I think HH should really consider doing more offline events after the lockdown!
Here are some shots of us trying out their scrubs, which were pretty nice and gentle:
In the end, Fufy bought a few items and I got a cuticle oil.
My nail beds can get really dry (especially after getting a new manicure), and I've actually been considering getting a bottle of OPI nail oil. A bottle is kind of inconvenient to bring around though, so I've been on the lookout for a good portable one.
I think the physical store was really good because I was convinced to buy HH's cuticle oil after trying it offline haha. I wasn't keen to buy the others I found online because I didn't know if they felt good/were legit.
Retailing for RM34.90, this product contains 4g of product. Click here to shop.
Made with a synergistic blend of naturally light oils, 8% colloidal oats, and vitamin E, this conditioning treatment offers intense therapy for dry, damaged cuticles, as well as nails and skin. The fast-acting, super-penetrating formula softens cuticles and promotes strong, flexible nails that hold colour and enhancements better.
Handmade Heroes is a cruelty-free and vegan brand, meaning they use all-natural & vegan ingredients + do not test on animals. Their products are also paraben-free and alcohol-free!
To disperse the product, all you have to do is twist the end:
And the oil comes out on the brush:
Since most of us here in Malaysia are staying safe at home, I mostly use this at night. I keep it by my bedside and apply it before going to sleep.
I've used this for a few months now and I love it so far. I like how nice and moisturized my cuticles look, and I rarely see them looking dry/peeling anymore. My only critique is that I can't tell how much product I have left because of the opaque packaging.
10/10 would recommend!
And that's it for this post! I hope you guys found it helpful and informative.
See y'all in my next post!
