Hi guys, today I'll be sharing about this yera's Celebrate Together Holiday Collection from The Body Shop!
I received a mysterious package from The Body Shop a week before the event, and I was super tempted to open it and see what was inside!
In line with current stay-at-home protocols, I joined The Body Shop one night on Zoom to discover this year's holiday collection.
It was fun seeing this year's limited edition items, but there's something even more important I wanna share about before I actually get into the products.
For 20 years now, The Body Shop Malaysia have been working together with the Women's Aid Organisation or WAO, a Malaysian non-governmental organisation that fights for women's rights and specifically against violence against women.
During the event, I learned that domestic violence against women actually increased during lockdown, and that it's a pandemic within a pandemic. It was shocking to see how the numbers had risen in these past few months, and even more shocking to realize that I personally do not know what to do or who to contact should I experience or witness an act of domestic violence.
Here's a helpful guide I snapped from the presentation which I think will be quite useful for everyone out there reading this to know.
Aside from giving a percentage of the sales this holiday as a donation to WAO, The Body Shop is also printing WAO's hotline and Whatsapp number on all their paper bags, making it easy to spread the word + awareness.
I personally love how supporting a 100% vegan beauty company not only helps the environment a little bit, but contributes towards a great cause as well.
Part of the surprise Christmas package I received was a letter card and envelope for me to write a letter to a domestic violence survivor, and I'll be posting my letter out soon.

Back to the holiday collection: this year, TBS has released 3 limited edition festive scents, a returning legend and two new ones.
Their first ever floral holiday scent, Winter Jasmine is described as floral, invigorating & delicate.
Available in several formats:
I got the Winter Jasmine Little Gift Pouch, and it comes in a nice recyclable bag:
It contains 4 items:
Winter Jasmine Shower Gel 250ml
Winter Jasmine Body Scrub 50ml
Winter Jasmine Body Yogurt 200ml
Winter Jasmine Hand Cream 30ml
The other new holiday scent is Festive berry, which is described as fruity, rich, and of course, festive:
Finally, there is Warm Vanilla, a popular scent making its return which is described as comforting, warming & indulgent.
This holiday season, The Body Shop also collabed with Crème De La Crème. The collaboration features specially crafted ice-cream flavours inspired by The Body Shop’s festive gift collection:
Tantalise your taste buds with the
Festive Berry flavour - a creamy tangy, cream cheese ice cream swirled with mixed berries sorbet and crunchy crumble
Winter Jasmine flavour - a sweet light white peach sorbet infused with jasmine flower
Warm Vanilla - the perfect balance of Madagascar vanilla ice cream swirled with spiced almond crumble and salted butterscotch
Another special edition is the ‘O Christmas Tree!’ petit gâteau, made of delicious cream cheese ice cream paired with fig ice cream, swirled with dried fig on a dark chocolate fig crumble base.
These exclusive flavours will also be available at Crème De La Crème stores in Uptown, Damansara and 163, Retail Park, Mont Kiara throughout December.
Aside from the ice cream and these festive scents/flavours, The Body Shop also has lots of gift sets and bundles available. One of them s this super fun Novelty Snow Globe Gift Dome!
Containing two banana products and two strawberry products, this irresistibly yummy gift set is sure to impress.
The Body Shop also sent me this cute Santa hairband & this convenient reusable bag:
Here are some of the other holiday items I like:
There's so much more available on the website, so remember to click here to check it out!
As we're all still trying to stay safe, I recommend taking advantage of The Body Shop's delivery service. Standard delivery costs RM10 for West Malaysia & RM15 for Sabah, but delivery is free on orders above RM100 for West Malaysia and RM150 for Sabah respectively.
And that's it for this post! I hope you guys found it helpful and informative.
See y'all in my next post!
