Hi guys, today I'll be sharing all about this preppy schoolboy coordinate I put together featuring a top from the UNIQLO x Hana Tajima FW20 Collection!
If you guys read my blog or follow me on Instagram, you may have already seen some shots of this outfit from my Dior Forever Cushion Powder review:

Combining refined elegance and effortless comfort, Hana Tajima is a British-born fashion designer that I think quite a lot of Malaysians would be familiar with. Since 2015, she's been working with Uniqlo to produce contemporary, functional designs, which are both culturally sensitive and extremely versatile
If my memory serves me right, her FW20 Uniqlo collection was released around the middle of the year. When the campaign images came out, I was quite impressed because the vibe and colours were totally me!
I actually tried out the full green set below in-store, but although the top material was gorgeous, I thought that it didn't really compliment me that well. I wanted to try the beige top but it was unavailable for some time.
Fast forward to this year's 10.10 sales, I spotted it on sale on their website! I decided to get it together with some Uniqlo U+ stuff (which I blogged about here)
The price is quite nice, and my order arrived in only 2 business days (which was super quick). The packaging was nicely done, so kudos to the Uniqlo team!
For this outfit, I decided to pair it with these high waisted shorts I found on Taobao (which I love and wear too much lol). I accented the look with black shoes, a black bag and black accessories.
Because everything but the top is black, I feel like the top really stands out. I'm felt like an NCT member during their Chewing Gum era haha.
If I had the cash, I would have loved to make this outfit bougier by using the YSL Monogramme Square Buckle Belt and the Prada loafers I've been eyeing, but...maybe one day haha.
Charles & Keith Top Handle Semi-Circle Bag in black
Item No. CK2-50700841-1_BLACK_S
I previously blogged about this bag before, and a lot of people still ask me on Instastory about it! You can click here to read my review. It's still available in-store, so if you'd like to get one you should definitely take advantage of Charles & Keith's year-end sales.
The top itself is actually nice and breezy. I love the texture and how easy it is to store/maintain.
And that's pretty much it! I shot these images after the rain at a cafe in Petaling Jaya called Doudou Bake.
The food was quite good, and I think I'll drop by again.
And that's it for this post! I hope you guys found it helpful and informative.
See y'all in my next post!
