Hi guys! Today I'll be sharing all about this monochromatic beige look that I put together with items from Uniqlo's U FW20 Collection.
Under the creative direction of Christophe Lemaire and his team of international designers, Uniqlo U reinvents basics by using high-quality, advanced materials such as Blocktech and higher standards of craftsmanship, all applied to elegant designs in a neutral colour palette.
I really liked the tones of the pieces in this collection, and it really did scream basic in the best way possible. I saw the previews on social media (like this post below from Jane Chuck), and thought that I should check it out and get a few pieces.
I didn't actually get to try them out before buying them as I was too busy. I managed to take advantage of Uniqlo's 10.10 free shipping promo, buying the large versions of the sweatshirt + sweatpants and hoping that they would fit.

They arrived in only 2 business days (which was super quick). The packaging was nicely done, so kudos to the Uniqlo team!
My first impression was that the material felt so soft to the touch. Second thought was that the colour was so pretty!
To be honest, I chose this colour because I love browns/nudes and I knew it would go well with my Prada bag haha.
Fit wise, the L size fit me perfectly. Just nicely baggy but...fit in it's own way?
The arm lengths and pant lengths are perfect, and the bagginess of the set is just enough that it looks chic/not too oversized.
Here's a few more snaps of me shopping!
I was window shopping in Coach because of their year-end-sale, hence the multiple bag pictures. Because this set is so nice and simple, it matched with most of the bags I tried on!
Even when I was fooling around and dancing, it was pretty easy to move around in. Under aircon, it does keep you warm, and outside, it isn't too hot.
And that's it for this super cute monochromatic look! I hope Uniqlo restocks the other colours soon because I think. I wanna buy more sets.
And that's all for this post! I hope you guys liked it. See y'all in my next one!
