Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Lipstick Review

Hi guys! Today I'll be sharing about Make Up For Ever's new Rouge Artist Lipsticks.

Inspired by the pro lip brush, the new Rouge Artist Lipstick facilitates the application with an intuitive and unique design: the lipstick is held in the hand like a brush! With this unique packaging, it helps you get perfectly shaped lips in high precision and effortless swipes.

Co-created with professional makeup artists, this brush features a massive 60 shades that feature a unique "blurred" finish and an intense colour payoff.

The Rouge Artist Lipsticks are now available in Malaysia for RM94 from both Sephora and Make Up For Ever's boutique in Pavilion. Only 30 shades will be available in Sephora but all 60 shades will be available in their Pavilion boutique.

Make Up For Ever sent over 2 shades for me to try out: 118 Burning Clay and 402 Untamed Fire.

In terms of packaging, I really do think that it's quite innovative! By removing the cover and attaching it below, it completely transforms into a lip brush.

The longer handle will allow for easier, more precise application!

118 Burning Clay is a maroon-ish brick colour that looks very chic:

402 Untamed Fire is a bright red that gives any makeup look that extra pop:

In terms of formula, these lipsticks really glided on smoothly with intense colour. One swipe was really full coverage! With camellia oil for softness and amino acids for added hydration, these lipsticks feel pretty lightweight and non-drying on the lips.

The matte finish doesn't look dry at all, and I understand what they mean by a "blur" effect. It's honestly very easy to work with, and the cream to blur texture is very comfortable.
