My Summer Skincare Essentials 2020

Hi guys! Today I'll be sharing all about my summer skincare essentials for 2020!

Summer is finally here in Malaysia, and although most of us aren't travelling or visiting any beaches, it's still important to use protective and soothing skincare products. Sun damage is one of the biggest culprits in premature skin ageing, and it's important that you protect it as much as you can.

In today's post, I'll be sharing all about products which I have added to my current skincare routine to help soothe/protect my skin even further!

THE FACE SHOP

Jeju Aloe Fresh Soothing Gel

One of my ultimate fave products from The Face Shop, I've been raving about this aloe gel for years now here on my blog. Formulated with 99% aloe vera leaf extract from Jeju to soothe and moisturize the skin, this product is a must, especially on hot summer days.

I usually use this after work, when I just want to relax and soothe myself. On its own it's already quite cooling, but when refrigerated? Oh honey, that's a whole new world of soothing! Aside from using it on my face both day and night, you can also use this on your body (especially if you're outdoors a lot/play sports)

I always have a tub ready for when I get breakouts too, and I've mentioned several times that aloe gel is one of my SOS products. If you have any inflamed areas/popped pimples, applying this will help soothe the area and heal it faster.

CNP LABORATORY

Propolis Ampoule Mist

An intensively nourishing face mist, the Propolis Ampoule Mist fro CNP Laboratory is formulated from activated ingredients extracted from the amazon bee’s propolis, helping keep the skin moist and glossy throughout the day. It comes in a huge 100ml canister, and I love how nourishing it is. The nozzle is able to spritz the mist super finely, evenly covering my face.

CNP's propolis line gained a lot of attention last year because of Hotel Del Luna, and I'm super glad that people are discovering CNP more and more! I really like their products, especially their propolis ampoule and sheet masks.

This mist contains the same main ingredients (propolis) but allows you to apply it on your skin throughout the day without having to do an entire skincare routine. It's honestly a very convenient product that has found its home on my office desk.
