Hi guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I'll be sharing about the Cezanne Sweetheart event I attended, as well as their latest collection of products.
Celebrating their 55th birthday, Cezanne is one of the most popular drugstore cosmetics brands in Japan, and they offer trendy and high-quality makeup and skincare products at very affordable prices. I saw them back when I went for my Japan trip, and almost every shop I went to carried their products!
I was recently invited to discover their latest collection, and in this post I'll be sharing all about the new products, my swatches + my first impressions!
First off, I gotta give the Cezanne team a thumbs up for the event space and set up. It was super Instagrammable and I loved the vibe so much haha.
Here's some shots of the new products:
Cezanne Lasting Lip Color N504 Orange • RM36.90
One of the focus products of this collection is the latest shade of their lipstick. Described as a natural terracotta orange, this color was made with a hint of brown that instantly ups your look and makes you look stylish.
This lipstick also contains moisturizing ingredients such as royal jelly extract to prevent your lips from getting dry and chapped.
It has a slight shine to it which I love! I'm so over dry and matte lip products, and I felt that the formulation of this lipstick was just nice.
When worn directly it gives a very chic vibe, while applying a gradiation/dabbing it on looks even more natural!
Cezanne Toneup Eyeshadow 07 Red Brown • RM49.90
An eyeshadow trio with souffle-smooth texture, this palette was made to create an elegant eye look.
We all know how sheer and glittery Japanese eyeshadows usually are, and that's because Japanese eye makeup lean more towards natural/sheer/light looks. I was super impressed by how soft and creamy the shadows felt to the touch, but even more that they were so pigmented!
The swatches above were only one swipe - love it! You can use the dark shade to line your eyes as well.
Cezanne Single Eyeshadow 06 Orange Brown • RM30.90
Containing microparticles as well as hyaluronic acid, evening primrose oil, African baobab seed oil, grape seed extract and rose canina fruit oil for easy and smooth application, this eyeshadow promises to be crease-proof and non-drying.
Swatches amazing as well! Pigmentation is super nice and it actually reminds me of this single shadow from Nyx I used to really love. Would totally wear this shadow on its own!
Cezanne Curl Keep Base Navy Black • RM49.90
Lightweight and smudge-proof, this mascara maintains curls perfectly and contains Jojoba oil to prevent dryness. This product was highly recommended by the Cezanne team, and after trying it out I could see why! It's very thin and natural-looking, and it doesn't clump at all.
You can use it as a base for more volumizing mascara, but I think for those looking for natural lashes using this alone would be sufficient.
Cezanne Natural Cheek N 17 Warm Brown & 18 Rose Beige • RM27.90
The shades in Cezanne's Natural Cheek N line have sold over 13 million pieces since 2001, and they're a must-have for any J-beauty lovers! The powder type formula has the right amount of coverage and transparency to provide a perfect, natural finish.

These blushes are super soft to the touch and they don't feel dry at all. When swatched they have a pretty pigmented payoff, but when brushed on/diffused they look even prettier!
Cezanne Pearl Glow Cheek P1 Gold Peach & P2 Beige Coral • RM49.90
Out of the entire collection, I think I like these the least. They swatch perfectly and have an amazing colour development, but I'm just not that big a fan of pearlized blushes (I prefer mattes).
Cezanne Pearl Glow Highlight 02 Rose Beige • RM39.90
I was pretty blown away by this highlighter because it's almost on par with western brands! No complaints at all: it looks blinding, feels smooth and applies nicely on my cheeks.
Cezanne Ultra Cover UV Pact • RM55.90
Available in 2 shades, this pact conceals pores, wrinkles and blemishes. It applies smoothly without caking up your face, and it contains anti-sebum powder to keep skin silky. It also contains moisturizing ingredients to prevent dry skin + a comfortable & convenient puff for touch-ups.
Overall I was really impressed with the collection and I can't want to use the products more in my makeup looks.
