Coach Horse & Carriage Collection Preview & Launch

Hi guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I'll be sharing about the brand new Coach Horse & Carriage Collection.

Last night I was invited by Coach to a private event where they launched the brand new Horse & Carriage Collection, and I thought I'd share some images from the store + my thoughts about the collection with you guys.

This winter, Coach presents its 2019 holiday campaign entitled "Wonder For All". Set against a snowy night in New York City, the campaign brings you through the cinematic lens of Bunny Kinney where Coach celebrates the magical mood of the festivities.

The Wonder For All campaign also introduces a new edition of Horse and Carriage collection. First introduced in the '50s, Coach's iconic Horse and Carriage motif is highlighted & reworked into a new collection.

I personally quite liked the print when I saw it, and the colour combinations they chose reminded me a lot of Christmas! The red against their signature brown was definitely Christmassy and festive.

Here are some of the bags I saw (and liked:

I've noticed a trend with luxury brands recently where they've started to release more boxy tote bags for travel. The Field Tote 40 would be perfect as cabin baggage/for someone who likes to bring a lot on their trips. Personally I think she looked nice, but I liked the Field Tote 30 better.

The Field Tote 30 reminds me a lot of my highschool days and looks kind of like a lunchbox carrier. I love the size and the shape, and I particularly like it in the brown colourway.

This collection not only features the Horse & Carriage motif as a print on canvas but on the hardware of their other best-selling bags as well.

Coach has released lots of colourways for the bags, as well as having the option to have it in full leather, leather quilting or mixed with canvas.

These bags above called the Kat Camera bags really stood out to me.

First thing's first, the quilted versions are slightly more expensive as they come in premium quilted lambskin leather. If you didn't already know, lambskin leather is softer and more supple than other leathers, and it's more expensive than other leathers as it's considered more luxurious.

The Kat Camera bags come with 2 straps: a wide cloth strap and a thinner leather strap. To be honest it was the straps that sold it to me. The colour combinations look so Hogwarts-y!

The Kat Camera Bags feature an organized interior, a convenient exterior slip pocket and (as I mentioned above) two detachable straps to instantly change the look of the bag. It's crafted in a dynamic mix of colorblock smooth, textured and high shine saffron leather.

The mustard/yellow colorblock version is super super nice, and I really like the Hufflepuff vibes that it gives!

It's the perfect size for a day out, and it fits all your essentials.

I'm really deliberating on whether or not I want to get this bag, just because it's really my cup of tea. The maroon version looks really nice as well!

I think they look super expensive/premium-looking, and I think for the price it's actually quite good.

The Coach Horse & Carriage Collection is now available nationwide, and if you're in KL, you can check out Coach's pop-up/outpost in KLCC as well.

I didn't really get to browse their clothing as I was more interested in the bags (haha) but you can view their winter collection, as well their vintage-inspired shoes.

There's also menswear available at the pop-up, and you can head over to the menswear section upstairs as well.
