Dior Addict Lip Tattoo Longwear Colored Tint #771 Natural Berry Review

Hi guys, today I'll be sharing my review of Dior's Dior Addict Lip Tattoo Longwear Colored Tint in the shade #771 Natural 

I first came across this while browsing around in Sephora and have wanted it for the longest time. I would literally drop by Sephora to apply it and leave without looking at anything else hahaha. I finally purchased it a few months back when Sephora had their storewide 30% sale, and I'm here to share all about it with you guys.

WHAT IS IT

Dior Lip Tattoo is Dior's first long-wear lip tint by Dior. Claiminig to have 12-hour wear, a comfortable formula and a weightless no-transfer finish, the colour of this tint fuses with the lips like a tattoo just seconds after application.

This tint fuses with the lips to provide a light, sheer colour, boosting their natural tone with a weightless, incredibly comfortable result. Just seconds after application, the formula adheres to the lips with an incredibly comfortable no-makeup feel.

PACKAGING

The product came with a box when I first got it:

The sans serif font that they use seems a bit...questionable haha. The packaging is nice enough, and I love the raised Dior text on the plastic packaging itself.

The accents are simple and elegant, and the shades are reflected in the color of the component and the sticker below

The doe foot brush is nice enough and sits nicely on my lips/applies evenly:

TEXTURE AND FRAGRANCE

Made with 80% ingredients from natural origin, this product has an incredibly weightless and seamless texture! It has a chocolatey scent and has a slightly watery consistency.

It blends very easily  and is super lightweight! The texture is actually what made me fall in love with this when I first discovered it in Sephora, along with the pretty colour!

LIP SWATCH

You can easily use your fingers to dab it on your lips for a super natural look. Here's whar it lools like fully applied on my lips:

MY REVIEW AND VERDICT

I think this is an amazing lip tint with a great formulation, pigmentation and blendability. You can use it as a gentle gradient or as a full lip, and the colour is very versatile. You can use it for both everyday and formal events, and I love how its a one-stop lip product.

The finish is not drying and has a moist/natural sheen to it. Here is what it looks like 

It's very usable for work, and I love how nice the packaging is.

 I think my only critique of this is that it's not 100% as long lasting as Dior claims. I still find myself retouching after the slightest drink. Here's what it looks like after around 10 hours out (event + buffet + karaoke)

It slightly stains the lips, but if you did an ombre you'll have to touch up for sure.

I really love the colour and texture, but its one of those things that are nice to have but not a necessity. If you can afford it, I definitely recommend getting one and trying it out. The comfort is unreal and the colour is super pretty. It's sheer enough to look natural, buildable enough to be used for different occasions and pigmented enough to last you a good couple of hours. I will definitely be repurchasing this once I finish it because it's just been my go-to lippie since I bought it haha.
