Charles & Keith Top Handle Semi-Circle Bag Review

Hi guys! Today I'm going to be sharing about my new Charles & Keith Top Handle Semi-Circle Bag in the Multi colourway.

I first came across this back when Charles & Keith first launched their 2019 FW campaign featured Ju Xiao Wen and Hailey Bieber:

There were a lot of very popular pieces from this collection, like their Croc-Effect Chunky Chain Handle Mini Bag:

One of the other design that caught my eye was the semi-circle bag. First only available in 3 colours, they have since expanded it to include a beige, green and orange variant (only available online):

They promoted these bags quite heavily during London & New York Fashion Week, and I really wanted to get my hands on one! After thinking about it & stalking Charles & Keith's IG, I decided to go with the multi-coloured one.

The bag is made PU/faux leather, like most of their other bags. The finish isn't matte but isn't shiny as well. I would say the shine is very minimal.

The material feels nice and soft, almost supple. The bag overall has a good weight to it: light enough to be comfortable to wear but heavy enough to not feel too cheap.

The hardware on this is quite pretty, and I love the Charles & Keith branding on the clasps of the body strap. I'm not sure what the hardware is, but I've already noticed some scratching. There are now very minimal scratches on the front metal flap and on the buckles of the bag where the clasps of the body strap is attached to the bag.

Since it comes with an adjustable body strap, you can easily adjust it to whatever length you please. You can't really put it over your shoulder, but if you would like to, Charles & Keith has a bigger version of this bag (click here to view it!)

In terms of size, although this bag looks quite big, it's still technically a mini bag. The curved bottom doesn't allow you to evenly arrange your items like how you can with a cuboid bag, and I can only fit my wallet, lipstick, lip brush and earphones in it. I don't really want to stuff it with more because I don't want to deform it/have any bulges sticking out.

As for the lock, it comes with a simple magnetic clasp which closes very easily once the flap is closed.

That said, this is a lovely bag. I like how versatile it is and how nice it looks sitting against my waist/. Here's what it looks like when worn crossbody:
