Creme De La Creme Beauty Elixir • The Worlds First Beauty Ice Cream!

Hi guys! Today I'll be sharing all about Creme De La Creme and their brand new Beauty Elixir, the world's first-ever beauty ice cream!

Crème De La Crème is Malaysia’s first and only artisan dessert haven. Located in Damansara Uptown, you will find artisan ice cream and iconic petits gâteaux, all made using 100% all-natural fresh ingredients without preservatives, artificial flavourings or colourings.

The place is quite instagrammable with bursts of neon from installations + a minimalist interior with ample seating space:

CDLC opened this year in March, and they're actually well known as they have 4 highly-skilled local pastry chefs who have worked and trained under world-renowned celebrity dessert master Christy Tania (from Masterchef Australia).

Aside from perfecting their recipes and textures, they CDLC also invests a lot on top of the line equipment, ensuing all their desserts are perfect.

The reason I dropped by their shop was for the launch of their latest ice cream flavour: the Beauty Elixir!

Backed by science, CDLC's founder Lio Lim wanted to create an alternative for beauty supplements/pills. Mixing both beauty and desserts together, Beauty Elixir was born!

Collaborating with Dr. Steve Chia, a multi-award-winning aesthetician from the renowned Sliq Clinic, the developed a revolutionary new ice cream flavour that helps you get smoother, fairer, brighter, healthier, more supple and younger-looking skin.

Containing 6 main ingredients, Beauty Elixir contains high-quality Glutathione (lightens skin) from Japan, Collagen (which boosts elastin production) derived from marine sources and Vitamin C (helps with the synthesis of collagen + gives antioxidant effects).

These three ingredients are amazing by themselves, but mixed all together makes them much more potent and effective! Along with these 3 ingredients, Beauty Elixir also contains Rose Water (anti-ageing and anti-oxidant), Cherry Blossom (rich in anti-oxidants) and Lychee for added benefits + a unique local flavour!

The best thing about Beauty Elixir is that it' sugar-free, so you don't have to feel guilty about indulging! The recommended daily dosage of Glutathione, Vitamin and Collagen can be found in 1 scoop, so you can easily have 1 scoop a day for your dessert to incorporate this into your diet. Like with all beauty products, you have to take it for some time to see results. According to the CDLC team, you're sure to see effects after 1 month of daily consumption!

Now available for purchase in CDLC, you can get Beauty Elixir by the cup (RM12.90) or by the cone (additional RM2). You can also opt for the tub (RM45).

The ice cream itself was super yummy! It has a slightly thick texture but wasn't heavy at all. The lychee taste was nice and there were yummy lychee chunks as well!

After indulging in a scoop of Beauty Elixir, I got the chance to explore their shop and try out their other flavours.

One thing I found interesting was that their flavours were super unique and local! From normal onces like Thai Tea & Musang King to unique ones like Asam Boi and Mango Sticky Rice, they definitely had a unique roster to choose from.

I personally like sorbets, and their Mango Passion Fruit Sorbet was particularly delightful. It's not like other sorbets where it was icy. They really perfected the texture and made it super smooth!

I would really recommend you guys to try out their Limau Assam Sorbet. Really nostalgic and is a unique blend of sweet, sour and salty!
