Lola's Shakin All Day, Canggu,⁣ Bali Review

Hi guys, welcome to my first Bali blog post! Today I'll be sharing all about Lola's Shakin All Day in Canggu, Bali,

Healthy breakfast and brunch spots are all the rage in Bali. You could literally step out and easily see cafes serving smoothie bowls and breakfast platters. My group and I wanted to, of course, live the Bali life and have breakfast at a few Instagrammable spots as well. We came across Lola's Shakin All Day on Instagram and what really convinced us to visit Lola's was the killer price point! (Read on to find out why).

We headed there first thing in the morning from our Tanah Lot hotel via taxi. From there you can walk around the Canggu area to visit other cafes as well.

The place is super simple but very cute! The pink really stands out, and I love how matchy matchy everything is. We were lucky enough to be the first customers of the day and managed to secure this prime seat (with their iconic Shaky Baby Shake slogan)

We were welcomed by the staff and served pinkity drinkities:

But to be honest, if you come here for photo purposes (like us), it's better to sit outside where the light is better. Come early to get good seats!

On the left there are some seats by hanging pots:

While on the right there are 2 seating areas. One was similar to hours but did not have the slogan:

While the other was a bench! 

This is another prime spot because you can take awesome shots there:

The only problem is that it's under the sun, and it can get a bit hot:

Back to the food! I mentioned above that the price point is what attracted us to this place. Wanna guess how much their breakfast set was?

Only IDR50,000, which is around MYR14.50 or USD3.50! For a set, that super super cheap!

For each set you three sections, and per section you can select the item you prefer.

Since there were 3 of us, we managed to order almost everything from the breakfast set menu. Of course you can order more stuff from their ala-carte menu, but I personally feel that their breakfast is more worth it. Since they provide free pinkity drinkities, you don't need to order any extra drinks if you don't want to.

Can you believe this entire flatlay of food only cost around RM44??!

For the main, Euri and I went with the dragonfruit smoothie bowl while Bo went with the tropical fruit smoothie. When we asked the staff what the difference between the smoothie and bowl was, they said it was the same, just in different containers lol. It was super good and super fresh! It tasted sweet but not to the point where it was too much.

For the second item, 2 of us chose bacon and another chose the roasted baby potatoes. The bacon was zamazings (pork) and was very crispy and juicy.

Finally, the 3rd item was eggs.

For RM15 each, I think you get a lot of items. I was quite full already because of the smoothie bowl and the two other items just made me all the more fuller. If you're going to Bali, I definitely recommend dropping by Lola's for breakfast + pictures!
