Hi guys, welcome back to my blog! Today I'll be sharing about my visit to Lisette's Café and Bakery in Bangsar.
I've actually seen this cafe on Instagram for a while now, but I didn't know that it was literally walking distance from my office! You can easily walk to it from the Menera UOA Bangsar (attached to Bangsar LRT startion), and it takes only around 2-3 minutes to reach it.
The exterior is covered in the foliage so it's very nondescript. No wonder I never saw it although I pass by this road quite frequently.
Address:
No. 8, 8A and 8B, Jalan Kemuja, Bangsar, 59000 Kuala Lumpur

Open daily 8am to 6pm

Famous for their flower wall on social media, Lisette's Cafe & Bakery has 3 main sitting areas. The first is the outdoor section:
Here you can find the famous flower wall. In case you're wondering, they're all fake. Although I dropped by pretty early in the morning as soon as they opened, I couldn't really grab a seat near the flowers as they had already been reserved. I recommend calling in the day before you drop by to save the super instagrammable spot for yourself!
Side from the wall, there are also small tables outside:
Inside we have some dining tables in front of their bar/bakery. This is where we actually sat and had our brunch.
I quite like the dim and cosy vibe. There are cakes and freshly baked pastries available in this section as well:
I quite liked how the pastries were set up, and it really was like a bakery (not just basic stuff, but a good variety + priced okay).
They have cakes as well (which we wanted to order but decided not to since we'd been eating too much that week haha).
I only found out after ordering, but Lisette also offers a breakfast and brunch buffet. I think lots of people would consider getting the buffet over ala carte items because of the affordable price point.
I came back a few days later to try it out, its actually very worth it! For RM35 you get to try out a lot of their main dishes + meat, rice, fruits, cakes and more.
That day I had the broccoli pancakes with coriander sauce (which I really recommend), as well as their kimchi fried rice, chocolate cheesecake and more.
Anyhoo, further in we have even more tables under a sunroof. It's covered + was pretty cool, so it'll be perfect for lunch/brunch.
I think this area would be great if you had a larger group since it's slightly more private.
Here's what Lisette's menu looks like.
Bo and I had just gotten back from Bali a few days prior, so we were still in food coma lol. We weren't feeling that hungry that day and decided to share their Big Breakfast (RM35), a pastry and a drink each.
For RM35, you get chicken sausage, beef bacon, scrambled eggs, hash browns, grilled tomatoes, baked beans, mushrooms, toast and butter. As I mentioned, both of us shared this and found it pretty filling.
The pastry we had (I think it was turkey ham?) was pretty nice as well.
Lucky for us, the person who reserved one of the tables with the flower wall was only coming around 11am, so we got to take a few snaps with it.
Overall I think it's a pretty nice brunch place. The prices are not too high (not too low either) and the food was good. The atmosphere is pretty nice as well, and I loved how friendly all the staff and servers were. I'd definitely drop by again and try more of their pastries + brunch items!
Thanks for dropping by my blog, see y'all in my next post.
