Hi guys, I'm here share about a short event I attended over the weekend with Foreo & Favful!
Last weekend, Foreo & Favful had an afternoon tea session where they introduced their sonic cleansing brushes. I've heard of Foreo but I've never actually tried it out nor touched/seen one in the flesh.
If you're not familiar with Foreo, they're actually a Swedish brand founded in 2013 that makes facial cleansing brushes, sonic electric toothbrushes, cleansers and eye massagers.
The event was pretty quaint and everyone really got the chance to try the Foreo cleansers hands-on to see how they performed.
Foreo is most famous for UFO as well as their Luna 2 cleanser, (featured here below!)
Promising to reveal your skin's youthful radiance, the Luna 2 gently exfoliates dead skin cells, unclogs pores and removes up to 99.5% of dirt and oil. It uses a trademarked T-Sonic technology to gently clean & unclog pores, and it uses a variety of low-frequency pulsations to massage the face, visibly reducing fine lines.
Aside from the Luna, I also got to play witht the Luna Mini 2 which is a smaller but handier version of the Luna 2 that has 8 adjustable intensities:
As well as the Luna Play Plus (which is recommended for those who want an introduction to Foreo's cleansers without breaking their wallet).
All of Foreo's sonic facial cleansers are made with medical grade silicone, which means it's non-porous, resistant to bacteria buildup and is 35% more hygienic than standard cleansing brushes. You also don't have to replace the brushes like normal cleansing brushes, and Foreo is super confident with their products that they offer a 10-year quality guarantee!
For more comparison, check out this chart!
After the event, the Foreo team was kind enough to give me my very own Luna Mini 2 to try out for myself, and I just wanna say (again) thank you!
Available in 6 cute colours, I got the Sunflower Yellow version:
It has 3 zones that are supposed to be used on different areas of the face. It comes with a cable for charging and once charge can last for up to 5 months worth of use!
I'll be trying it out and sharing my experience using it with you guys after a few weeks, but so far my first impression of it is that's it's super soft and wasn't as drying as I thought it was going to be! Compared to other facial cleansing brushes that I had & tried (like the Pobling & Mary Kay one), this one is super gentle and seems promising.
And I guess that's all for this post! Do look forward to my review in the future. For live updates (or if you have any questions about it), follow me on my Instagram at @fishmeatdie!
PS. My makeup was popping during that afternoon tea event
See y'all in the next post!
