Hi guys, welcome back to my blog! I'm still getting used to the fact that it's already September but the month is almost halfway through! Through all the work and stuff that's been going on in my life right now, the only solace and peace of mind I can find is in pampering myself with skincare and makeup hahaha.
I recently got some products from The Face Shop and I thought I'd share them on my blog and tell you guys why I chose to get them!
The Face Shop Malaysia's website just had a makeover! I checked the site to get some additional info and I was pleasantly surprised to find that the site looks so much nicer now!
Definitely easier to navigate! Check it out here. They also have an awesome collection of products on sale for only RM11, so don't forget to check that out by clicking here as well.
Without further ado, on with the haul!
The Solution Mask Sheet Range | RM10.60 each
Sheet masks are one of my fave products because I can use the at home and at work. These ones from The Solution Range come in 9 different flavours:
Hyaluronic acid (for hydrating)
Ceramide (for moisturizing)
Pearl (for brightening)
Vitamin C (for radiance)
Collagen (for firming)
Peptide (for wrinkle care)
Propolis (for nourishing)
Madeccassoiside (for soothing)
Tannins (for pore care)
BHA (for smoothening)
All the masks are formulated without parabens and I'm planning to do an in depth review on all these masks so stay tuned for that!
All Skin Range Sheet Masks | RM5.19 each
You can never get enough sheet masks so I picked up some of these from the All Skin line as well. They're also formulated without parabens and are made using the Oriental Herb Extracting Process, which is The Face Shop's special way of extracting ingredients from oriental herbs.
Jeju Volcanic Lava Aloe Nose Strips | RM16.80
On the site, these are only available in sets of 7 but in-store they were available for RM2+. I decided to try them out because they're super cheap and I've seen a lot of AB Community bloggers post about it haha.
Air Cotton Makeup Base | RM40+
I actually lost my receipt but I got this base because I was running out of primer haha. This base feels very hydrating and the lavender shade helps to cancel out the yellowness in my skin tone.
Oil Clear Blotting Powder | RM35.93
I love Korean setting powders because as an oily person they come in really handy. You can use it by itself to stay matte all day long or use it as a setting powder to make your makeup last longer too! The puff is pretty soft and the powder is super fine. I tried setting my face and it effectively elimminated the excess sebum my skin produced!
Designing Eyebrow Pencil 03 Brown | RM15.37
If you guys can remember from my eyebrow tutorial on Youtube, I mentioned that I preferred using powder for my brows. Who could have imagined that I'm actually more of a pencil person now? I feel like pencils require less work and are easier to draw eyebrows with! I got the shade brown and paired it with a eyebrow mascara as well.
Designing Browcara | RM30.63
Watery Tint_05 | RM25.33
The last product I got was this lip tint, just because you can never have enough lip tints haha. It pretty pigmented when I swatched it + has quite a good staying power!
Aaaaan that's it for this short haul! I totally wish I waited a little longer because there's so many new promos going on on The Face Shop's new website! If you guys are thinking of getting anything from TFS, I highly recommend you try the website our because the 1st 100 customers get a FREE 100ml cleanser with any purchase!
Aside from The Face Shop products, the new website also carries other Korean brands like CNP Laboratory, Tomaru, Dear Packer, Makeremake and Beyond (which I've seen on Instagram very often as of late!). Click here to check it out!
And that's it for this post! I'm working on my review for The Solution Range's sheet masks, so don't forget to keep an eye out for that!
Can't wait for the mask review.
