Hey guys, today I'll be posting my thoughts and review of Innisfree's Green Tea Seed Serum!
This post is actually part two of my Innisfree's Green Tea range review!
Without further ado, on with the review!
*Disclaimer: All three products were sent to me for review purposes, but all thoughts and opinions in this post are my own. I only have one face and I strive to be 100% honest with my reviews!*
WHAT IS IT
This serum is a VERY popular serum, like seriously everywhere you go people rave about it. On blogs, YouTube videos, Instagram, you name it. It contians highly concentrated green tea seeds, and its supposed to help provide and retain supple moisture to the skin.
WHERE TO BUY?
This serum usually retails for RM115, but you can get it for only RM61 on Althea.kr!
PACKAGING
Different from usual glass dropper bottles, this serum comes packaged in a plastic green bottle.
INGREDIENTS
Here's the description and the ingredients on the back of the box:
TEXTURE & FRAGRANCE
As mentioned, this serum is very lightweight and moisturizing. It doesn't have any scent or colour, and it leaves a slight sheen to the face after its been rubbed in.
HOW TO USE
Since this product is so thin, you're actually supposed to use it as the first skincare product after cleansing your face! What I do it I pump out two pumps of product and spread it around on my skin in circular motions until absorbed.
MY REVIEW
Since this product is so raved about, I was expecting some major effects/differences on my skin after using it. Sad to say, there were no dramatic results. It was hydrating and it was kind of soothing as well, but I didn't see any super improvements on the texture and overall appearance of my skin. It did only claim to be hydrating and it did that, but if I wanted moisture I could go and find a much better moisturizer to do the job.
MY VERDICT & WILL I REPURCHASE
Not to say this product is bad, I mean I do like the hydration and I do enjoy using it, even on days when I'm feeling lazy. It's one of those products you can use when you don't feel like applying a lot of products. I just don't feel emotionally attached to it, ad I don't LOVE it. So I probably won't be repurchasing this serum.
