Hey guys! Miss me? Today I'll be sharing my unboxing (and a product review of sorts) of Althea's Superfood Box!
Yes you read that right! Althea now has box sets available! I've always heard of subscription boxes (like Michelle Phan's Ipsy bags & Memebox's boxes), but if you haven't heard of them before, they're basically themed boxes or bags that you have to subscribe to. Usually box sets include recommended products all totalling to a certain amount of money.
The reason why I never really tried out one of those is COMMITMENT. I can't subscribe to a box subscription because I simply do not have enough money to pay for a box subscription.
Before I start my unboxing and share my thoughts on the products with you guys, I'll give you guys a bit more info about the boxes first.
Althea recently introduced their Althea Boxes, and every month there will be 3-4 new box sets available.
They're all themed and you can get the products at a super discounted price compared to if you were to get them all separately.
Here's what a few examples of the boxes, their worth price and their selling price:
Life-Proof Box (Worth RM374 )
RM110
All About Eyes Box (Worth RM530)
RM120
Glitter Box (RM592)
RM121
Year-End Box (RM520)
RM129
See other boxes here: http://my.althea.kr/althea-box
They cost WAAAAY less that they're worth! One thing I noticed that is that these boxes have limited stock. Once they're gone it'll take a while for them to come back, so do grab them while you can!
My fave feature about these boxes is that I don't have to commit to a subscription! Its my choice whether or not I want to try products with a specific theme and I don't have to worry about getting something I don't like/I don't need.
So, back to my Superfood Box!
The box contains 🍇food-themed products🍵 that are not just for skincare but hair, body & lip care as well! 🍽
The box contains 8 products and costs RM138.

I hope you guys found all that info useful. Now, on with the unboxing/review!
Skinfood Avocado Lip Scrub
This product is so cute! I first thought it was supposed to be used like the EOS lip balm but its actually flat inside. You have to dig some product out and use it to scrub your lips (like a normal sugar scrub). I quite like the sugar smell and it did help me get smooth lips. Ever since primary school I've had dry lips. Now its not as dry but I still get a lot of chapped skin/dry dead skin on my lips, and using this really helps get rid of those.
Calmia Oatmeal Cleansing Foam
I haven't used this yet as I'm still using my Innisfree Green Tea wash~ Oatmeal effectively balances out the amount of oil in skin and reduces acne so I'm quite excited to try this out around next month (I'm trying to finish my products now instead of just using them halfway so do bear with me!).
Oatmeal is also a popular natural exfoliator, especially for people with sensitive skin. I first heard about using oatmeal as a mask from one of my fave YouTubers Bubzbeauty 💕
Innisfree Green Tea Moisture Essence
This one I've started using and I love it! Although the Green Tea series is more for people with dry skin, I've been loving the products from that series so far (I'm also currently using the serum). Anyhoo, this product has a milky consistency. I'm not sure why its called an essence, but I use it as a moisturizer at the end of my skincare routine. Its not drying or overly hydrating, just right. It does leave a slight sheen which can be removed by blotting paper or powder,
Nine Point Blackberry and Bay Body Mist
This box even has a body mist, it really does cater for the whole body! It smells fresh and light, perfect for daily use.
B&Soap Fun Shampoo Bar
This one I haven't tried because I think it'll be perfect for travelling! It's small and compact, plus I don't have to bring a whole shampoo bottle.
Monstory Cool Cool Mon Slow Aging Sleeping Mask
Another product I love! This sleeping mask looks like yogurt and I've used it the most among the products here. I admit I've been getting lazier with my night routine (because of work). After toner I used to just slap on aloe vera gel and die on my bed. This kind of works the same way. I use it as a one stop-fix and boy does it work. In the morning my skin feels uber soft and smooth!
Half Moon Eyes Milky Toning Jelly Essence Toner
The previous toner I was using was the Etude House Zero Sebum Toner (which also contained powder that had to be shook). They pretty much work the same for me~
Missha Juicy Farm Body Shower Berry Blueberry
Last but not least is this shower gel! I also haven't started using it but it smells divine! Definitely recommended if you like scents like me.
And that was it for this quick unboxing! Since I've only used these products for about a month, I can only give you guys brief reviews. If I find the time in the future I'll definitely write full reviews here on my blog (especially for the products that I loved!).
So far I don't have any complaints with any of them! If you guys are interested in getting this box as well, click here to purchase it!
And that's it for me! Thanks so much for reading this post! To show my thanks, here's me with my dog:
As you can see he was not having it 😂
