Hi guys, welcome to another "what's in my playlist" post! Here's are the songs I've been listening to non stop for the past few weeks, so if you're in dire need of new tunes, read on!

I Cry When I Laugh - Jess Glynne

I first heard of Jess Glynne through Clean Bandit's song Rather Be (I'm sure you've heard it on the radio). I was really attracted to her voice because it sounded so unique! I downloaded a few of her other hits (Hold My Hand & Don't Be So Hard) but aside from that, I didn't bother to search her up.

I came across this video using her song Take Me Home as the background music and OHMYGOD I wanted to cry! The lyrics were so cheesy and romantic and my god I just died.

I then proceeded to downloading her whole album. No Rights No Wrongs is another catchy tune:

But basically everything on this album is gold. Her style and her voice is just so addicting! Another honorable mention is You Can Find Me from the same album.

This whole album's been on repeat ever since I started my internship here in KL!

Once Upon A Time - Mariahlynn

If you watch Vines or videos on Instagram, you've probably come across this song:

To be honest it was funny at first but I just couldn't get it out of my head XD As I mentioned, I just started my internship and to be honest I've been quite the hoe (haha). Everyone's friendly but I'm too shy to even make conversations with them. I gotta get out of my box really...

Anyways, another song by Mariahlynn is Never Bitch and its one of my feel good songs tbh

Square One - Blackpink

YG's newest girl group has finally debuted and and I like their songs more than I expected! When I first watched the MVs I wasn't sure but after a million listens I WAS HOOKED. I like Boombayah more than Whistle, but Whistle is equally catchy.





Lisa is so goshdarn pretty! She's my Blackpink bias, but she's so young that I feel like it's weird saying that...AM I BECOMING AN UNCLE FAN ALREADY NOOOOO

Love & Letter - Seventeen

Okay, this is a late entry but I have a good reason. Like BTS, I didn't want to get into Seventeen and purposely avoided downloading their music because I just knew I was gonna start addicting over them (ala 2012 with EXO) and I just didn't wanna go through that again (like I'm turning 20 this year I think I have to let fanboy Eros calm down a bit). Obviously I failed with BTS (I have their full discography now) and I succumbed to Seventeen a few weeks back. I really like Pretty U and Very Nice:





Vernon pls. S.coups pls. Jeonghan pls. CAN U ALL PLS NOT.

Aside from those, I quite like Hit Song and Monday to Saturday

Inferiority Complex - Park Kyung

I came across this song by accident when I was watching a few G-friend videos. The aesthetics in yhe music video are on point and Eunha's voice is just so pretty! (She's so pretty too omg).




Stalker - U-KISS



U-KISS released their 11th mini album a few months back (they're up to 11 omg that's a lot) and I honestly don't understand why they don't have that much views on YouTube. Their songs are always so bomb! Kevin's parts in Stalker were particularly catchy~

I also really liked Take is Slow:

Sailing - Girls' Generation

Being the loyal SONE that I am, I of course need to talk about their newest song! It kinda sucks that Sica wasn't with them for their 9th anniversary (like pls 9th anniversary?? 9 members?? T.T). Plus with Tiffany's Japan "scandal"...sigh. At least we have a nice song. Sooyoung's voice was unexpectedly really good here too:




And a few random songs are Charice's cover of All By Myself (which she recorded a studio version for Glee but the live one is a million times better):

And Madonna's Don't Cry For Me Argentina. I actually downloaded the whole Evita album and gosh Madonna's voice is so nice! I actually didn't know she could sing that well (and reach that high).

And that's all the songs I've been hooked on to for the past few weeks! EXO's Lotto MV was released today and I think I like it just as much as I liked Monster. Catchy but...meh. CL is supposed to release her new single tomorrow, and I don't know if its going to be in English or Korean BUT I KNOW I'LL LOVE IT ALL THE SAME.

I'll be posting about my sem break and my first week interning next (hopefully I don't get lazy/don't die on my bed out of tiredness), so do keep an eye out for that.
