12 days of LOVE in KOREA

i recently went to SnJ and picked up a copy of their magazine, BENTO

and i read an interesting article that im about to post about :D all credit goes to SnJ :D the title of the article is:

TWELVE DAYS OF LOVE IN KOREA

JANUARY 14

On this day, couples give each other yearly planners
to mark their anniversaries and important dates throughout
the year

FEBRUARY 14

Everywhere in the world, guys give girls a present to
represent their love, but in Korea, its the girls that
give guys chocolate! XD

MARCH 14

On this day, guys in Korea now give the girls chocolates.
Its kinda like Valentine's day, but on this day,
its the guys' turn to give chocolate. 

APRIL 14

This day is a day for SINGLE people (like me XD)
Koreans eat 'jajangmyeon' (noodles with black sauce)
with their friends in celebration of their singledom
for the past months

MAY 14

Traditionally, couples exchange yellow roses
while singles gather to eat curry to increase their chances
of finding love

JUNE 14 

As the name suggests, this day i for couples to
err... KISS each other XD

JULY 14 

This is the day when lovers make announcements of
their relationships to friends and family, as well as
exchanging silver rings.
The catch is that the older must pay for the dates of
the couple for the day XD

AUGUST 14 

A day whereby singles console themselves for being
singles by drinking SOJU
(this day i LIKE ^^) 

SEPTEMBER 14 

Couples take pictures on this day and sing and dance
their hearts out at the karaoke ^^

OCTOBER 14 

Another alcohol-related day XD
On this day, couples keep warm from the cold
Autumn weather by drinking wine together

NOVEMBER 14 

Couples remind themselves on this day of the 'sour'
times that they swear to share together by drinking
sour orange juice

DECEMBER 14

Winter in Korea can be bitter, so the idea behind Hug Day
is to have your partner to give you a heart-warming
hug to keep you two safe, sound and sane
